01Who we are

A Kenyan brand, connected to regional farms.

Pakacha, the consumer food brand of Grainedge Millers Ltd, turns crops grown by farmers across East Africa into food families can trust. We source from growers, then clean, mill and pack our products in Kenya with care.

From flour and rice to cooking oil, honey and animal feeds, every Pakacha product is held to the same standard: clean, safe and consistent, pack after pack.

01

Clean, safe food

Every raw material is cleaned, sorted and checked before it is processed, and every pack is sealed under hygienic conditions.

02

Fair to farmers

We buy directly from growers across our sourcing region at fair prices and pay on time — strong farms make strong harvests.

03

Consistent quality

The pack you buy next month should be just as good as this one. We test every batch so it is.

04

Shared value across the region

Our Nairobi production creates jobs in Kenya, while our sourcing supports farmers and their communities across the region.

05How it’s made

From the farm to your table.

Five careful steps between a farmer’s harvest and the pack in your hands.

  1. 01

    Sourcing

Our procurement team works directly with farmers and suppliers across East Africa, and buys only what meets our quality criteria.

  2. 02

    Cleaning & sorting

Everything that arrives is cleaned, sorted and checked, so only sound raw material goes into production.

  3. 03

    Processing

Each product follows a line built for it. Flour is milled, sifted and fortified with zinc and B-vitamins; the bran from that milling goes into Pakacha Animal Feeds.

  4. 04

    Quality checks

Every batch is tested against its specification before it is released. Nothing is packed until it passes.

  5. 05

    Packing & delivery

Packed, sealed and checked before dispatch — then delivered through our distributors, wholesalers and retailers to your table.
